Spent 8 hours fixing Cathys computer whose hard disc was thrashing around doing nothing. AdAware found over 300 spy programmes, HouseCall found 1 worm. They had two very tenacious programmes, LOP which insists you browse through their so called portal and EAnthology which insists you need virus protection and then proceeds to tell you how clever it is at finding viruses that don't exist, except within it also the browser had been hijacked by the lolita porn stars! this required the use of the BHOdemon to kill the BHO's that taken control of the browser
What a mess. What future is there for broadband when computers can get messed up as much as this!
