Just introduced Em to The New Ta for Kids and Grown ups my word how quick she picks up the principles! just had a great time going through P A and C. Just wish I'd discovered ir at her age!

At last the first Linux box has appeared at home! Its running Smoothwall and acting as a firewall between cable modem and home network. Apparently it can drive 50 computers. Will instal old laptop purchased from Computer Resale in pantry door to act as a kitchen music system streaming from net and using musicmatch for my mp3s . Big thanks to Thomas for getting it all going! and hopefully this is the beginning of the end for Uncle Bill! and the start of a love affair with Linux!
