A very good evening in London with Nick (sorry that Mia went straight home, knackered after her first week in her new job , according to Nck learning good old vi and linux). Sat up last night and digitised the old family photo album, linked the photos using genopro. Its now very neat that you click on the family tree (going back to my great grandparents) and up pops the photo. Its also excellent that you can blow up photographs like times ten to read the lapel badges etc or to see a little girl holding up a photo inside the photo. Next stage is to make a clickable map so that I can see where the old family used to hang out in the country. If I could get the photo upload working on this blog then I could put snippets of tree on here. Damm Userland software! 8:24:20 AM    comment []
