An interesting link for regarding how supermarkets operate. Seems as though the Thai shopkeepers are slightly more organised than in theUK .

Palm (via a third party) now send a very flash "Consumer satisfaction report". Obviously cost a fortune to prepare. You can guess how that was filled in. Whats the betting nothing more happens ?

An aside to the Palm story - I thought I would upgrade to the Treo. So I visited the spanking new O2 shop (and remember this is Cambridge, home to Arm and the centre of silicon fen) in the centre of town The shop was full of brand new XDAs using GPRS etc etc. So I ask about the Treo , its on display but with no prices. Ah! one moment sir we will ring head office to get the price. Thats right the latest hi-tech shop with NO computer, NO ADSL link, nothing but the old dog and bone. How much has BT wasted changing its name to O2 and still not providing any support to the staff!. Oh yes she rang back 30mins later (shops caller ID disabled - goodness me we cant't have customers ringing us!) with the fact you cannot buy them outright!
