Today my Palm Vx!s battery failed after two years I was rather hoping to get the sort of service I have had from Motorola or Siemens with my mobile phones. i.e. A courier arrives with a replacement and takes the old one away, alas no, after much time going round in circles on their website (So web savvy they haven't even got palm.co.uk) I found that they declined to fix it ! Frustrated I wrote to the ONLY real persons email address on the site (The PR department!) talk about getting palmed off !
So we go from the website blurb "We are committed to providing you with the highest customer satisfaction" to "We are not obliged to provide any form of Technical Support by law." in the time of one email.
We will see what tomorrow brings!
