However, according to Jean-Michel at The Boomerang hotel we can expect loads of snow next week 🙂 Many thanks to The Boomerang for providing free WiFi internet here in Les Gets.
Today Stan and I did the Chavannes run, a tribute to the snow cannon and careful piste management by SA Gets we could actually ski into the village. Even Avoriaz is looking a bit dodgy now, especially below 1800metres.
Would be great for you to get some snow, will keep my fingers crossed for you…..

have the chance to go to les gets on saturday feb 3. how is the snow at the moment? is there much chance of skiing?
29 Jan Pretty well closed again – just the chavanne run into the village on artificial snow, the rest is a mess.
No snow predicted in next few days either
thanks for that geoff. all i get from the tour operators is positive reports of snow but i was sceptical given the snow forecasts of various websites. think i’ll leave it till march!
