A quick post as we are sat in the centre square of Los Santos freezing to death and hungry 
We have now done 100 miles or 161km of the 1000km. Sally leaves me tomorrow so I will now have to do 20miles or so every day on my own, if I am to meet up with Emily in Santiago – a bit of a tall order, I think!
Tonight is another refuge, totally empty except for us 
so no complaints from Michael & Manuel tonight about my snoring!
Oh what a shame you couln't find a nice hotel…yes a lot of walking to be done…I am sure you will give it your best shot
we may have been cold and hungry and in an awful refuge BUT i was with you…. so in paradise
