Went to special film show at The Picture House made with films produced in prisons by prisoners, what amazing talent or " Only through failure do you see the chance of success" . The film Bullfrog produced by Arabella Warner Director Rob Clare produced in HMP Grendon. Memorable line:- Q. Where else are you limited by a blank canvas (other than painting). A. The boxing ring A short film called "Bully" a must see for any adolescent produced in a Young Offenders Institution by Litza Jansz  (Video Workshop) a stunning use of animation and 'edge' effects - beat any Disney film by miles And finally Dreaming Will where London Shakespeare Workout Prison Project went to a Borstal and in 2 hours had the inmates (and warders) producing verse in iambic pentameter. Went along with Tony to try and learn Tango seemed to be getting the rhythm after one hour just amazed me the huge difference with different partners - some I felt quite confident with others was like walking on eggshells. Maybe I will learn rhythm eventually with Hilary teaching me piano and getting me to clap with metronome. 10:27:47 PM    comment []
