Winter Solstice walk

Today was the shortest day and we celebrated it in gorgeous sunshine with a walk by the Cambridge Rambling Club A team, ably led by  Larry & Margaret . A decent turn out of 14 hikers did the over 14 mile circular walk from Balsham via Brinkley.

A surprising hilly walk with a total climb of 1700ft in the day!  across quite a few freshly ploughed fields. The walk was enhanced with mulled wine and minced pies :-)

Another great walk… we always seem to pick the best ones to go along too. One day we shall have to lead one :-) we would make a great team :-)
